Pissed off.
Was going to rave about how great the event was.

Has come to light that the wolves burnt the Eilistraee shrine.

Not 'In character we burn it' and giving the damn thing to a ref.

Not even, while in character, they put it on the fire, which would still be piss annoying and not OK.

But they burnt it while they were timed out and waiting to go monstering.

Thoroughly, thoroughly pissed off at the lack of respect and basic common sense from that lot. There's one fucking faction I wouldn't tuoch with a barge pole.

EDIT: Turns out they didn't burn it, all rumour and hearsay. Better now. :)

I am still very VERY angry about that.

You and Kay put a LOT of time and effort into making those to make the game a lot more interesting and fun for the other players.

Then stuff like this happens, people stop bothering to make that kind of effort and the game ceases to be fun.

Have been ranting and raving about it to Sarah for most of this morning. Something has been put up on the Wolves board by Sarah about it but I for one would, at the very least, appreciate an apology from them to Kay and yourself if not to us as a faction.

That kind of behaviour is unneccesary, cruel and downright disgusting.

I know we've had an apology from a group leader for their stupidity, but they're just generally apologising, I think - it wasn't them or any of their group.

That's a good start.

Though I do hope this won't stop you doing this kind of thing in the future.

The shrines were awesome and I hope to see more stuff like that in the future!

That sucks. I know how bloody frustrating it is when people damage things that you've put a lot of effort into making. (and if I ever find the person who cut holes in a certain banner I will need to be held back from doing the same to them)

It's a sad indictment that a good few people in this world don't give a damn about other peoples property and have no bloody idea of the effort that goes into props/set dressings/costume etc.

Hugs.

As I've said, I have put a message out to the Wolves faction command and they will making sure their players know not to destroy other people's property in future.

I know this is really annoying, guys, but can we keep it amicable if at all possible? I've done what I can to deal with it, and I suspect we'll never find 'the culprit', but someone somewhere is going to be feeling a bit ashamed of themselves, believe you me.

*hopes this journal entry was friends only, *runs to check**

To be honest if they had actually burnt it IC then I'd be more understanding. I can only hope that they just wanted to be warm and saw a piece of wood and thought.. 'ooooh fire!' and that was it.

No, not f-locked - I only tend to f-lock if a post has personal or sensitive information in it, and this is common knowledge.

If they had burnt it IC we have at least some come back at them, get some role playing out of the act of desecration. To have burnt it OOC - and in a monster slot is nothing less than cheating. Not to mention the time and effort that went into the making of it. What they did was criminal damage. As was what the tw*t did to the banners to hang them in the command tent at Wigan - he knows full well who it was and hasn't apologised for it.

*snigger* If all this has started because they can't even keep track of what they IC nick/destroy, I shall be amused. And pleased to get the plaque back, I have uses for that.

We now have confirmation from Mike M - it's turned up in one of their packs, albeit slightly damaged from transit.

So am i - the girl who told me in the loo's that they were burnt was giggling somewhat - i guess she may not have realised that i was viper and therefore on a bit of a squeeage of the "how cool am i" variety. That said am much calmer now it has been ascertained it wasn't actually burnt
